What is Hap Ki Do?

Hap Ki Do is a form of self-defense that uses joint locks, pressure points, throws, kicks, and other strikes.

Hap Ki Do employs the philosophy of using minimal force to overcome a stronger opponent. Therefore, great strength is not needed to apply the techniques effectively.

Circular motion, non-resisting movements, and control of the opponent are emphasized over using strength against strength. Hap Ki Do combines "soft" techniques similar to Aikido and Jujitsu.

Hap Ki Do emphasizes the use of nerves, pressure points, and joint manipulation. This combination makes Hap Ki Do an extremely effective self defense skill
